It is titled Q&A with Cochrane Back Review Group Editors, and it will address frequently asked questions pertaining to risk of bias, GRADE, and Summary of Findings tables. They are also offering a stand-alone session called Systematic review of preclinical animal studies: current state of affairs, which is currently a hot topic in research.

Q&A with Cochrane Back Review Group (CBRG) Editors Webinar Series

This webinar series will address frequently asked questions pertaining to risk of bias, GRADE, and summary of findings tables. Each webinar will include short presentations, but the focus will be on answering your questions. Please send your questions in advance to Teresa Marin at tmarin@iwh.on.ca, and the presenters will do their best to address them during the webinars.

This series will be informative to new authors, as well as authors who are updating their reviews.

 

Q&A on Risk of Bias for CBRG Reviews

First, Teresa Marin, Managing Editor, will give a short introduction to the webinar series. This will be followed by a presentation by Al Mayhew, Coordinator of the Cochrane Bias Methods Group, who will address the most commonly asked questions pertaining to the risk of bias assessment for randomized controlled trials.

• What to do if the relevant information isn't provided in the article

• How to make decisions about risk of bias due to missing outcome data

• Practical tips for conducting the risk of bias assessment
