We are delighted to share some exciting news: the Cochrane Complementary Medicine Field has a new home! We are now based at the Integrative Medicine Initiative at Georgetown University, a hub for advancing research and education in integrative approaches to health.
This initiative, led by Professor Hakima Amri and Professor Adi Hamrati, brings together a flourishing research portfolio with an innovative one-year MS in Integrative Medicine & Health Sciences program. By joining this vibrant academic community, we look forward to connecting with current and future leaders in integrative medicine at Georgetown and continuing to expand Cochrane’s involvement in traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine research.

About Cochrane Complementary Medicine
The Cochrane Complementary Medicine Field (cam.cochrane.org) was established to support the preparation, dissemination, and use of high-quality Cochrane Reviews in the areas of complementary, alternative, and integrative medicine. The Field provides resources for researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and patients who want evidence-based guidance in making health decisions.
Recognizing Key Contributions

We would like to take a moment to acknowledge Susan Wieland, who has been instrumental in supporting the work of Cochrane Complementary Medicine in the United States. Susan’s leadership and dedication have been critical in advancing the visibility and impact of evidence-based research in complementary and integrative medicine. Her contributions continue to shape the way this important field develops and connects with the global Cochrane community.
