Cochrane welcomes new Future of Evidence Synthesis Implementation Officer.

Announcement welcoming Ana Beatriz Pizarro as the new Future of Evidence Synthesis Implementation Officer at Cochrane CET

We are delighted to announce that Ana Beatriz Pizarro has joined the Cochrane Central Executive Team (CET) as the new Future of Evidence Synthesis Implementation Officer. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Ana, and take a moment to read her introduction below.

Ana Beatriz is a family registered nurse based in Colombia trained in Clinical Research from the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health, who has taken several roles within Cochrane over the past five years, including membership of the Editorial Board and the Consumer Executive representing the Early Career Professionals Group, working on the Cochrane US health equity Mentoring Programme, promoter of the International Mobility Program, founder of ''Estudiantes Por la Mejor Evidencia (ExME)'', and authoring Cochrane reviews. Previously, she was a junior researcher for projects with Evidence Aid and the Pan American Health Organization and was the research associate for the Cochrane US Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded Racial Health Equity project. She is especially interested in community and stakeholder engagement, health equity, and evidence synthesis methods.

In her new role, Ana Beatriz will work to support the launch and implementation of Cochrane Thematic Groups and Evidence Synthesis Units.
