
The U.S. GRADE Network is pleased to announce its 22nd Guideline Development Workshop, with a special focus on GRADE for diagnosis, scheduled for May 7–9, 2025, in Arlington, Virginia.

Workshop Overview
This three-day workshop offers participants an in-depth understanding of the GRADE approach, emphasizing diagnostic guidelines. Attendees will engage in both large-group didactic sessions and small-group experiential learning to:
- Develop focused clinical questions using the PICO framework.
- Assess the certainty of evidence.
- Formulate clear and actionable diagnostic recommendations.
The workshop is structured into two tracks to cater to varying levels of experience:
- Comprehensive Track: Ideal for individuals new to evidence-based medicine and guideline development.
- Methodologists' Track: Suited for those with prior experience in evidence-based medicine or guideline development.
Optional pre-workshop courses are available on the morning of May 7:
- Systematic Reviews for Diagnosis: Focusing on conducting systematic reviews of diagnostic accuracy studies.
- GRADE Primer and Guideline Fundamentals for Panel Members and Organization Staff: Providing foundational knowledge for effective participation in guideline panels.
Participants can also register for additional access to INGUIDE Level 1 or 2 certification as part of their participation.
