US Network welcomes Emory University as a new Affiliate

 

We are delighted to welcome Emory University to the Cochrane US Network as our newest Affiliate.

 

 

 

 

 

The group is led by Caroline Coleman, MD from Emory University School of Medicine as Director, and by Helena Pachón, PhD, MPH from Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University as Deputy Director.

Caroline is an academic hospitalist at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program at Emory University School of Medicine in 2023, earning a distinction in POCUS.                                         

Helena Pachón, PhD, MPH

Helena Pachón is a Research Professor in Global Health at Emory University. She holds a PhD and MS from Cornell University, and an MPH from Harvard University. Her research focuses on food-based approaches to tackle malnutrition, with extensive experience in crop biofortification—naturally breeding staple crops to increase their nutrient content.

The group is excited to work with the rest of the network and aid in the Knowledge translation efforts, train faculty, staff, and students in the completion of systematic reviews, and support in the conduct of impactful systematic reviews that answer clinical, program, and policy-relevant questions.
