The US Network's Executive Committee comprises five members plus our Senior Officer. Any Network members from affiliate institutions and review groups who wished to stand election were able to do so. Candidate positions were made available to all members, and a vote took place effectively selecting membership. Of the five committee members, two serve as Co-Chairs. We are fortunate to count among all five voted members a sincere dedication to Cochrane initiatives, the highest quality evidence production and synthesis, and a philanthropic spirit, as all positions are voluntary. The EC serves as the advisory board to the US Cochrane network, helping to build and implement a strategic plan, develop governance and terms of reference, create and foster sustainability, and advocate for the use of Cochrane science in US healthcare and public health guidelines and policy.
