FDA Begins Enforcement of Clinical Trial Transparency RegulationThe US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently taken action against a clinical trial sponsor for not reporting the results of a study, giving the sponsor – a pharmaceutical company – 30 days to post a summary of the findings to ClinicalTrials.gov or risk a fine.

International Women's Day was March 8th! Cochrane US hosted Cochrane's International Women's Day 2021 Event! Each year Cochrane hosts an event in the name of Anne Anderson, a pioneering woman in health evidence synthesis.  This year, the US Network hosted the inaugural event, which highlighted the stories of five amazing women in our Network.   Read more on Cochrane's main website.

The Cochrane US Network recently participated in a Cochrane-wide initiative to produce COVID19 case studies, highlighting how many of the Cochrane geographic and review groups around the world have been contributing to COVID19 science, research, medical care, guidance, etc.  Read the Cochrane US story here!

Nimisha Kumar,  from the United States, is a fourth-year medical student and hopeful future OB/Gyn coming off of a research year as the inaugural Cochrane Fellow of the recently established US Satellite of the Cochrane Pregnancy & Childbirth Group (US-PCG) at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

The 1st Annual World Evidence Based Healthcare Day was held October 20th! Cochrane, along with global partners including JBI, GIN, Campbell Collab, and Evidence Africa hosted the first virtual day to highlight and advocate for #evidencetoimpact.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Evidence-based Practice Center (AHRQ EPC) program, Guidelines International Network - North America (G-I-N/NA), Cochrane Canada, and Cochrane US partnered to host the first North American Systematic Review Methods Virtual Research Day, which was held on Friday, October 30, 2020.
